Vide DIT & VE letter No. T-2/TCPC Cell/Project/2009-10 dated 15-10-09 The following staff are appointed in this institutions for TCPC cell. Their work and duties is as under.

Main Objectives of TCP Cell.

1.   Ensure Employment/Self Employment and apprenticeship training to trainees.
2.   Skill gap mapping & providing skill gap training to make trainees employable.


Function of TCP Cell

1.   Organize campus interviews for recruitment of trainees.

2.   Maintain detail of all trainees.
3.   Collect the requirements of skilled workforce of industries.
4.   Provide counseling and career guidance to trainees by professionals and experts.
5.   Do skill gap making and provide skill gap tool to trainees.
6.   Keep track of passed out trainees till they are employed at least for 3 years.
7.   Conduct survey in industries for apprenticeship training and to find out employment potential.
8.   Work like employment Exchange.
9.   Publicity Centre of Excellence scheme.

Roles and Responsibilities of TCP Cell


1.   Maintain record of all trainees admitted and keep track of passed out trainees at least for three   

      years which will help in conducting tracer studies.
2.   Maintain follow up register of employment and salary received up to three year from the year of
      passing weather employed/self employed/apprenticeship training/gone for higher education.
3.   Survey, identification and engagement of apprentices in industries as per apprenticeship act.
4.   Maintain record of industries/employing Govt., organization.
5.   Organize campus interviews, recruitment fairs.
6.   Organize workshopwith the help of DIC/Banks/Development Corporations.
7.   Organize EDP training.
8.   Inform all passed out trainees about the recruitment fairs organized by Govt./Semi Govt./Pvt.
      Organization time to time.
9.   Arrange seminar and workshop regularly for counseling and vocational guidance and
      employment opportunities.
10. Display Paper cutting or notices about vacancies.
11. Help the trainees to prepare CV.
12. Organize training program to improve interviews skills, personality development, soft skill etc.
13. Arrange on job training (OJT) and industrial visit for trainees.
14. Facilitate for overseas employment.
15. Conduct survey to find employment potential.
16. Co-ordinate with employment exchange.
17. Registration of trainees of advance module & specialized Modular training of COE.
